Many thanks to Luiss Guido Carli University and Luiss Rector Andrea Prencipe for hosting this important event “Healing Ourselves by Healing the Planet” that generated a public debate by engaging Law, Digital Innovation and Sustainability students on such a relevant topic as sustainability and bringing concrete testimonies from the spiritual leader and activist of the Ashaninka community, Benki Piyãko and distinguished experts in the field, Antonio Gaudioso and Raffaele Barbato.
Known as the Dalai Lama of the Amazon, Benki Piyako wanted to raise awareness of his cause and his project that aims to save the Amazon rainforest and address climate change; he also emphasises the problems of these issues with health, seeking to stimulate the social activism.
