Gender Equality Plan

LabGov ETS has adopted a Gender Equality Plan, fulfilling a core eligibility requirement for research organisations applying for funding under the European Union’s Horizon Europe Research Framework Programme. This policy instrument, introduced in the context of the European Commission’s Gender Equality Strategy 2020–2025, is designed to advance gender equality and to ensure that research organisations operate in line with the highest standards of inclusiveness and equal opportunity.

Aligned with both the strategic priorities of the Gender Equality Strategy 2020–2025 and the regulatory framework of Horizon Europe, the Gender Equality Plan of LabGov ETS establishes gender equality as a cross-cutting principle in organisational governance, decision-making, and research activities. Its objectives include reducing gender imbalances, embedding equality measures into institutional processes, and mainstreaming gender considerations throughout research design and implementation.

The adoption of this Plan represents the starting point of a long-term institutional commitment. LabGov ETS recognises the Gender Equality Plan not as a stand-alone measure but as part of an ongoing process aimed at fostering an inclusive, equitable, and respectful working environment in which the contributions of all individuals are acknowledged and valued, irrespective of gender.
