On Saturday 7th and Sunday 8th of March 2015 there will be the first #ItaliainComune conference in Cerveteri, a little city near Rome. The two-day meeting will be the occasion for local administrators from all parts of Italy to come together and present, share and evaluate the best ideas and projects realized in their own towns. The only condition is that the idea has been implemented and accepted by an administrative act of the City.
The #ItaliainComune initiative was conceived by the Mayor of Cerveteri, Alessio Pascucci, that after years of work as local administrator decided to create a platform to collect all the good practices realized by the Italian municipalities. Pascucci strongly believes that the real trigger of Italian politics are the Mayors and the local administrators in general, because they are strictly related to the citizens and conduct their work with energy and passions notwithstanding difficulties and financial constraints. #ItaliainComune should become a platform collecting all the ideas and projects realized by Municipalities with the aim to provide open access to information and knowledge. The webpage of the initiative www.italiaincomune.it will become the shared archive of all the best practices presented during the conference.
The concerence will be divided into 5 sessions each devoted to a specific topic:
- Protection and valorization of Cultural heritage (Culture and Tourism)
- Sustainability (Environments, Energy, Urban planning)
- Communication and Europe (Communication, Partecipation, Trasparency, European projects)
- Legality and Third sector (Social services, Public administration)
- Others
LabGov will present the case-studies developed in Bologna with the Regulation on public collaboration for urban commons and in Mantova with CO-Mantova, the Collaborative governance Pact.
