EUARENAS – “Urban and Climate Justice Tools in Reggio Emilia – new models of public – private – community partnerships, impact measurement, and science for city.“
The workshops of the EUARENAS project continue, this time it will be hosted by the Municipality of Reggio Emilia, at the Chiostri di San Pietro.
On December 15th, a seminar will be held to discuss the current Urban and Climate Justice and Democracy Regulation in Reggio Emilia, organized by the municipality of Reggio Emilia, in collaboration with Luiss and LabGov ETS.
The aim of this latest Regulation was to integrate into a single text the experience that has been ongoing for several years in Reggio Emilia, which aims to build a model of sustainable urban development based on cooperation between local communities, public institutions, businesses, civil society organizations, and knowledge institutions. The new Title V of the Regulation is being revised and among the new features introduced is the regulation of the role of the municipality as promoter of energy communities through a sustainable urban development model.
