The closing workshop of the research activities conducted under the Horizon2020 EUARENAS on the current Urban and Climate Justice and Democracy Regulation in Reggio Emilia was held today at the Chiostri di San Pietro: “𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐔𝐫𝐛𝐚𝐧 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐂𝐥𝐢𝐦𝐚𝐭𝐞 𝐉𝐮𝐬𝐭𝐢𝐜𝐞 𝐓𝐨𝐨𝐥𝐬 𝐢𝐧 𝐑𝐞𝐠𝐠𝐢𝐨 𝐄𝐦𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐚. 𝐍𝐞𝐰 𝐦𝐨𝐝𝐞𝐥𝐬 𝐨𝐟 𝐩𝐮𝐛𝐥𝐢𝐜-𝐩𝐫𝐢𝐯𝐚𝐭𝐞-𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐦𝐮𝐧𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐩𝐚𝐫𝐭𝐧𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐡𝐢𝐩𝐬, 𝐢𝐦𝐩𝐚𝐜𝐭 𝐦𝐞𝐚𝐬𝐮𝐫𝐞𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐬𝐜𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐜𝐢𝐭𝐲.”

Councillor Lanfranco De Franco introducted “The Experimentation of Urban and Climate Justice Regulations between Co-Programming and Co-Design: Area Pacts and Public-Private-Community Partnerships.”

Then new ideas and projects for the City Science Office (site of today’s workshop) were presented, including the projects’ presentations by students of Management of Circular Economy, MSc Law, Digital Innovation and Sustainability (Luiss Guido Carli University).

Finally, there was a focus on ESG measurement at the city level, the measurement of social impact or value, followed by the conclusions of the City Executive of Reggio Emilia, Nicoletta Levi, and Professor Christian Iaione.
