On September 18, 2025, at 2:30 p.m., the Open Roundtable of the Jean Monnet Module PROHTECT, entitled “The Future of the One Health Approach: Legal Challenges and Perspectives”, will be held in Room 278 of the Department of Law at Roma Tre University.
The event, chaired by Constitutional Court Judge Maria Alessandra Sandulli, will bring together distinguished academics and experts from international organizations and institutions. The roundtable is intended to foster an in-depth and multidisciplinary debate on the legal dimensions of the One Health paradigm, with particular attention to its capacity to provide a coherent normative framework for addressing the interrelated challenges of human, animal, and environmental health.
Professor Christian Iaione (Luiss University, Life Research Center, Co-Director of LabGov) will present the Integrated Urban Plan of Santa Maria della Pietà. This site is not only recognized as a common pool resource but is also increasingly regarded as a paradigmatic context for the practical implementation of the One Health/Planetary Health approach.
