Economic sustainability for the commons

In Mantova continues the work of the Entrepreneurs for the Commons co-design Laboratory.

Cattura1Social in innovation studies highlight the importance of the so-called “triple bottom line” a perspective that take into consideration jointly the economic, social and environmental sustainability. In the field of the commons it’s important to have in mind this perspective. For this reason the next meeting of the Entrepreneurs for the Commons co-design Laboratory – promoted by the “Cooperative and Civic Economy Enterprises Group” established within the Chamber of Commerce of Mantova and realized in collaboration with Labsus – Laboratory for the subsidiariarity, will be devoted to the study and elaboration of a sustainability plan for the commons, for their management and  valorization.

The meeting will be held by professor Luigi Corvo of Tor Vergata University, on the next 29th and 30th of September at the Santagnese10, the creative living lab of the Municipality of Mantova.

On Monday the 29th from 2 p.m to 6 p.m. Corvo will illustrate the three main dimensions of fundraising: corporate, institutional and crowd-funding. On Tuesday the 30th there will be a co-working session aimed at the elaboration of a sustainability plan for the Laboratory.

The meeting will continues on the first of October with professor Christian Iaione, scientific director of Labsus and coordinator of the project, that will open the Governance Camp, the third phase of the project, after the Call for ideas and the Ideas Camp.

ItaliaTVBThe initiative “Italia Ti Voglio Bene” presents on Monday the 9th of September in Rome a public debate for the discussion of new proposals for the development of Italy through social capital.

 

The growth of social capital as a new start for the development of Italy will be the theme of the conference will take place at the Senate of the Italian Republic the next 9th of September in the Sala dell’Istituto di Santa Maria in Aquiro (Piazza Capranica, 9) from 9:30 am to 13:30 pm. The conference represents the first moment of public debate of the project “Italia Ti Voglio Bene”, launched on January by the Centro Antartide of Bologna.

The idea behind this project is that is possible to have smart cities only with smart communities. Italia Ti Voglio Bene aims to give voice to the good and virtuous Italy spreading the idea of active citizenship, reciprocity, cooperation and collaboration, social responsibility, civicness and sustainability. The main aim of the event is the elaboration of new proposals at national level .

The event, that will be hosted by the Vice-president of the Senate Linda Lanzillotta and by the senator Rita Ghedini, will have many guests from politics, third sector, university and civil society. The introduction  will be made by professor Stefano Zamagni of the University of Bologna that will talk about the importance of circular subsidiarity for the development of social capital. Among the speakers there will be also Gregorio Arena, President of Labsus – Laboratory for Subsidiary that will participate in the roundtable of the shared governance of the commons. The professor Christian Iaione of RENA will be part of the roundtable about the citizenship and the civicness.

Italia Ti Voglio Bene aims to create collaboration and sharing of ideas in a broader project in which the single group and ideas spread all around Italy could find a common framework. A common framework that makes easier for participants to share theoretical concept but also practical experiences. In fact, will be crated a national day and an on-line platform for communication.

Banner_1_2_settembreIn Mantova the participants of the Lab will work for two days on the start up of cultural enterprises  with Daniele Di Gennaro.

The “Entrepreneurs for the commons” co-design laboratory – promoted by the “Cooperative and Civic Economy Enterprises Group” established within the Chamber of Commerce of Mantova and realized in collaboration with Labsus – Laboratory for the subsidiariarity – will restart its work, on the first and the second of September in Mantova at the Politecnico di Milano – Polo territoriale di Mantova on Via Scarsellini, 2.

The first meeting after the summer holidays will be held by the expert in cultural enterprises Daniele Di Gennaro, publisher of Minimun Fax and producer of Minimun Fax Media.

On the first day, there will be a workshop from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. entitled “The cultural enterprise: structure, functions and strategies” devoted to the analysis of the contemporary artistic production in order to understand the mechanism of sharing of cultural production. Moreover there will be a focus on the strategies of communication on the market for the cultural enterprises.

On the second day, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. the participants will be involved in a co-working session and they will be able to test their ideas and projects. Thanks to the role of facilitators of Labgovers through the guidance of Di Gennaro, the participants  will make three experimentations: an assessment of the feasibility of their ideas; the strategic planning and the design of cultural enterprises start-up.

Locandina_Mantova_24_25_luglioIn Mantova on the 24th and 25th of July for the fourth leg of the “Entrepreneurs for the commons” Laboratory.

The importance of the social media within the communication sphere, in particular in the fields of involvement, persuasion and influence, is difficult to estimate, but is undeniable. We are in the era of “prosuming” i.e. the exact correspondence of production and consumption. For this reason it is necessary to rethink how to communicate.

In Mantova the “Entrepreneurs for the commons” Laboratory – promoted by the “Cooperative and Civic Economy Enterprises Group” established within the Chamber of Commerce of Mantova and realized in collaboration with Labsus – Laboratory for the subsidiariarity – has reached its fourth leg. The project aims to cultivate, develop, empower some of the best ideas emerged from the call for ideas “Culture as a commons” launched by the Province of Mantova, Cariplo Foundation and the Chamber of Commerce of Mantova.

The next 24th and 25th of July the expert in social media and political communication Dino Amenduni of Proforma, will held the two day activities of the group supported by the facilitators of LabGov. The meeting, hosted by Santagnese10, a creative co-working space provided by the Municipality of Mantova, is entitled “How to communicate a collaborative enterpirse for the commons on social media”.

In the first day will be held a workshop, from 2 p.m. to 7 p.m., with a theoretical part and a more practical one, in which the participants of the Laboratory will receive all the tools and methodology for creating a communication campaign. The second day, from 9 a.m to 4 p.m., the group will be involved in a co-working session. The objective will be to write a ready-to-use communication plan and to test the ideas emerged within the Mantova ideas camp from a communication perspective.

To activate collaboration, co-design and co-production involving the final user is a constant challenge in the field of services design. Something is changing. An increasing number of cases of co-production and co-design are spreading throughout our cities.

This will be the subject, on the 9th and 10th of July, of the co-design “Entrepreneurs for the commons” Laboratory promoted by the “Cooperative and Civic Economy Enterprises Group” established within the Chamber of Commerce of Mantova and realized in collaboration with Labsus – Laboratory for the subsidiariarity. The two day activities will be hosted by the co-working space “Santagnese10”. The Lab aims to promote collaboration and cooperation among civil society, entrepreneurs and public institutions for the care and regenerations of cultural common in the city of Mantova.

After the opening meeting that was held in Mantova on the 19th and 20th of June with the participation of professors Gregorio Arena and Christian Iaione, for this second meeting the Lab will be animated by the designer and researcher Daniela Selloni of the Politecnico of Milan, creator of the project “Creative Citizens

On Wensday, July 9th from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. there will be a workshop for the introduction to the subject and the presentation of three interesting projects: Nutrire Milano, Cittadini Creativi, Coltivando.

On Thursday, July 10th from 9 a.m. to 17 p.m. the member of the Laboratory will be directly involved into a co-working session for designing and testing their ideas through three tools: Interaction Storyboard, Co-desig e Prototyping.
