Saturday, Sept. 30, The Laudato Sì Caserta Festival brought the city together for the presentation of the Masterplan of the urban regeneration project, Campo Laudato Sì, by the Casa Fratelli Tutti ETS Foundation.
Professor Christian Iaione, architect Massimo Alvisi (Alvisi Kirimoto) and architect Baggio Marilena (GREENCURE) presented the project, which will see the regeneration of the former military area Macrico, returning it to its original vocation as a common good: the area “will return to being a garden, a field of peace and life, of meeting, inclusion and dialogue between generations.”

From Wednesday, September 20 2023 to Friday 22, Prof. Elena De Nictolis, Dr. Sofia Eliodori and Dr. Viktoriya Pisotska attended the EUARENAS Consortium Meeting in Wrocław, Poland.
They presented the results of Work Packages 2, 7, and 8 of the #Horizon2020 project and conducted two successful workshops during the conference.

Registration is now open for the first edition of the 𝐒𝐢𝐛𝐢𝐥𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐢-𝐄𝐮𝐫𝐨𝐩𝐚 𝐒𝐮𝐦𝐦𝐞𝐫 𝐒𝐜𝐡𝐨𝐨𝐥, which will take place from 31 August to 3 September 2023, in Amandola (FM), in the heart of the Monti Sibillini National Park.
The school is promoted by the Sibillini Europa Association, with the high patronage of the City of Amandola, in collaboration with the BLEUSE Jean Monnet Chair and the European Documentation Centre of the University of Macerata, with Law, Digital Innovation and Sustainability and LabGov.City of Luiss Guido Carli University, and the support of the ITS Foundation of Fermo.
The aims of the Sibillini-Europa Summer School are:
– Offer an opportunity for advanced training and academic-professional orientation for young students interested in the challenges and opportunities of European integration
– To create a space for debate between experts, young people and the local community on topical issues for the European Union as a common political space
– To allow the knowledge and promotion of the territory of Amandola and the Monti Sibillini National Park, known for their beauty but also for their seismic and socio-economic vulnerability.

On July 4th 2023, at Luiss Guido Carli University Professor Scott Shackelford JD, PhD gave a talk on “𝐃𝐞𝐟𝐞𝐧𝐝𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐃𝐞𝐦𝐨𝐜𝐫𝐚𝐜𝐲 𝐢𝐧 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐃𝐢𝐠𝐢𝐭𝐚𝐥 𝐀𝐠𝐞”.
He is a Provost Business Law and Ethics Professor at Indiana University – Kelley School of Business. Professor Shackelford has written more than 100 articles, book chapters, essays, and op-eds for diverse publications. Similarly, Professor Shackelford’s research has been covered by an array of outlets, including Politico, NPR, CNN, Forbes, Time, the Washington Post, and the LA Times.
This research seminar focused on recent case studies and meta-analyses to better understand cyber-enabled threats to election infrastructure, along with efforts to manage misinformation and disinformation around the world.
