On June 18, the Demo Day was held at CTE Roma – Casa delle Tecnologie Emergenti.
As partners, we at Luiss Guido Carli University attended the presentations of the selected students from the AcceleraImpresa program.
The program was promoted by the Department of Productive Activities and Equal Opportunities of Roma Capitale, led by Monica Lucarelli, who introduced the event by emphasizing how the Administration wants to continue investing time and resources in the development of youth entrepreneurship, innovative ventures, and sustainable development of the territory.
It was a great day and, above all, a wonderful initiative that provides excellent opportunities for students!

On Thursday, June 13th, we participated in the event “ARCHITECT@WORK ITALY”, hosted at Fiera di Roma.
The theme chosen for this year was “Fab Futures” and within the talk dedicated to the Urban Ecosystem, lawyer Pier Paolo Zitti, team LabGov, together with Eloisa Susanna from the Alvisi Kirimoto studio presented the urban regeneration project of Campo Laudato Sì, an area of the former Macrico, promoted by the Diocese of Caserta, as the result of the collaboration between public, economic, social, scientific, and civic actors and the “Casa Fratelli Tutti” Foundation.

On Thursday, June 13, 2024, at Fiera di Roma, we will participate in the event “ARCHITECT@WORK ITALY”.
This year the event will be held on June 12 and 13 and will be based on the theme “Fab Futures”, where renowned architects and interior designers will share their views on the theme, with a selection of product innovations and a program of unmissable talks.
In the panel dedicated to the Urban Ecosystem, lawyer Pier Paolo Zitti will present the Campo Laudato Sì – Caserta project, the co-design path carried out by LabGov ETS, together with the Alvisi Kirimoto studio, aimed at the regeneration of the former military garrison, Macrico.

On June 11th, we held the last research seminar of the semester, during which the presentation of the Book Proposal Chapters related to the EUARENAS project took place.
Our multidisciplinary team has been responsible for three Work Packages: WP2 on Methods, Ethics, and Methodological Development; WP7 on Policy and Changemaking Tools; WP8 on Impact.
Therefore, the aim of the book proposal is, first and foremost, to include our theoretical perspective, practical insights, and empirical results derived from the experimental experiences within EUARENAS and the Co-Cities journey, particularly from Reggio Emilia.
The purpose is to contribute to the discourse on urban democracy by offering insights into the practical applications and limitations of theoretical frameworks, with Reggio Emilia as the primary case study.

June 4, 2024, Villa Altieri – Rome: “Enterprising Communities. People and Places of Regeneration in Rome. The Experience of Neighborhood Labs”.
During the meeting held on June 4th at Villa Altieri, as researchers from Luiss Guido Carli University and representatives of the LabGov ETS research laboratory, we presented the co-design activities carried out at the Santa Maria della Pietà complex.
These activities aim to transform the complex into a major social infrastructure, increase community participation, and create connections with the city through meetings and workshops that we will organize with the citizens in the coming months.
